Citation XLS

The Citation Excel / Citation XLS / Citation XLS Plus is a jet aircraft, part of the mid-size business jet category manufactured by Cessna Aircraft Company in Wichita, Kansas, USA. It is one of the models in a large range of business jets produced by the company.

The Excel has the largest passenger cabin in its class of light to mid-size business jets, accommodating up to 10 passengers in a high-density interior design. However, typical corporate configurations feature a cabin that can seat between 6 and 8 passengers with provision for an additional flight attendant seat for the crew, although most operators suffice with a crew of two, namely the captain and the co-pilot, with the latter attending to passengers and their needs during the flight, especially after reaching cruising altitude.

While it may appear at first glance to be a light jet, it offers all the comfort and relaxation amenities typical of mid-size business jets while retaining the same performance, maneuverability capabilities, short runway usability, and economical operating costs that the Citation 5 Ultra is renowned for.
